Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager for Strategic Account Manager sells products through building relationships with channel partners.
You will be responsible for managing existing accounts and planning and acquiring new accounts for Koch Filter.
***Preference given to applicants residing in or within a commutable distance from Louisville, KY***

Overview
  • - Manage / oversee Koch Filter Corporation’s strategic and national accounts including OEM customers
  • - Work with all Regional Account Managers by providing guidance and pricing structures for all new national account and OEM opportunities
  • - Meet with our customer’s management teams when negotiating new national account / OEM opportunities and renewals
  • - Work directly with JCI companies to promote Koch Filter Corporation’s product line within JCI
  • - Work with customer service and production to ensure sales orders are entered and shipped in a timely manner
  • - Meet and exceed sales, price, and margin targets
  • - Provide YOY sales reports and forecast to managemen
  • - Handle any issues / problems and respond with appropriate action plan while keeping Koch Filter Corporation’s best interest in mind
Required
  • -Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Management, Engineering or Marketing
  • -Minimum 5 years sales experience in the filtration industry or related industry experience in production planning role
  • -Three to five years of successful outside sales and presentation experience
  • -Ability to travel up to 40%
  • -Strong technical background working with product and design engineers
  • -Experience in OEM markets
  • -Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • -Experience with Salesforce
Preferred
  • -Exposure to HVAC and paint overspray markets
  • -Experience with CRM software
  • -MBA
  • -Master of Science in Engineering
